Issue 01·Pattaya Coffee··Anonymous Customers·Paid Bills·No Comps
Privacy Notice · Effective

No trackers. No exceptions.

Pattaya Coffee runs no third-party advertising trackers, no behavioural profiling, no retargeting pixels, and no analytics that follow you across the web. Here is what that means in practice — and the short list of things we do still collect.

In one sentence

We collect almost nothing, we sell nothing, we share nothing — and the few things we do log exist only to keep the site up and the directory honest.

01What we do not collect

This is the longer list, because it is the more important one.

02What we do collect

DataWhyRetention
Server access logs. IP address, page URL, user agent, timestamp. Standard hosting logs from Cloudflare Pages. Used only to debug outages and identify abuse (DDoS, scraping). Rolling 14 days, then deleted.
Newsletter email. Your email address and the timestamp you signed up. To send you the Pattaya Coffee newsletter. Sent only when you click the confirm-subscription link in the welcome email (double opt-in). Until you unsubscribe. One-click unsubscribe in every email.
Email correspondence. Whatever you send to info@pattaya-coffee.com. To reply to you. Read only by the editors. Kept until the conversation is resolved, then archived in our editor mailbox.

03Cookies

This site does not set any tracking cookies. The only browser storage used is:

No cookie banner is shown because none is required: we set no cookies that need consent under GDPR Article 5(3) or the ePrivacy Directive.

04Third parties we do load resources from

Two, for fonts. Both are configured to not track:

If you would prefer the site not contact Google for fonts, a self-hosted fallback is on the v1.1 roadmap. In the meantime, blocking fonts.googleapis.com at the browser level will fall back to system fonts cleanly — the site is fully readable without the custom typeface.

05Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, California, or Thailand, applicable privacy law gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email info@pattaya-coffee.com with the request. We will respond within 30 days.

Because the only identifying data we hold is your newsletter email (if you signed up) and any email correspondence you have sent us, deletion is usually straightforward: unsubscribe + email us asking us to purge the mailbox thread.

06Children

The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please email us and we will delete it.

07Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, with HSTS, a strict Content-Security-Policy, and modern security headers. Vulnerability disclosure: see /.well-known/security.txt.

08Changes to this notice

If we change this notice in a way that materially affects what data we collect or how we use it, we will note the change in /changelog and bump the "Last updated" date below. Subscribers will receive the next newsletter issue with the change called out at the top.
